i had two paradise fish earlier today, and i came home tonight and found the female upside-down on the bottom of the tank. that sucks. what's even worse is that my beautiful male has some crap stuff coming out of his left gill...it seems like his gill exploded and his guts are coming out or whatever. but he looks great, and he's active and eating. does anyone have any idea what this might be? i have some swordtails and some ottos and some shrimp in there as well, and they all seem to be fine. my temp is around 70, and i haven't had any fish die in a long time. thanks for any help
