Hello! as the title says i'm looking for some advise regarding possible tank mates for my paradise fish. He's currently alone in a 55g other than a pair of ropefish. knowing that they can be a bit aggressive, id love suggestions that are about the same size (or larger) as the rope fish will make a tasty snack out of anything much smaller. My sights are currently set on a school or two of larger rainbowfish . Does anyone have experience if they tend to tolerate each other?

Paradise fish tend to only hate each other or similar anabantoids. I've not had a problem keeping them with anything they can't swallow easily.
