Parasites? Beetle? What???

They look like water mites to me but need a closer pic to be sure they aren't water beetles. If in doubt on either; remove them from the aquarium. They are quite big for water mites though, which normally grow to about 5mm adult size depending on species. They feed mostly on smaller or larger invertebrates usually larger sucking their blood or hemolymph. Water mites are related to spiders and are parasites. Water mites have 8 legs, water beetles have 6.
 
The pictures really make them look larger then they really are. These guys were almost microscopic they were sooooo tiny, the only reason i saw them was because there was a mass of them piled together.

Once again, they were immediatly killed following the finding and pictures on the very first time this was posted. Also the tank was treated with parasitic medication just to be sure, the fish were not infected or anything.
