It's a cichlid from Madagascar. Very aggressive, but a great personality.

The smear on it's eye is actually on the glass.

Thanks. It's prettier in person. The base color is much darker and it should be closer to black when it matures. The fish is about 5" right now, so it still has some growing to do. I'm hoping to show it at either a TCA or FOTAS show in the next year or so.

I got this one last summer at around an inch, it's now about 5".
