i was just wondering how eels and parrot fish were for beginners. i love path of these fish. i have no specifics on what type of parrot i want, i just want one. any info would be helpful.

Parrots don't do very well in home tanks. You'd probably do better with one of the wrasse species they don't have such a specialised diet," coral and algae growing inside and between coral ridges", and they don't get nearly as big. the eels are usually quite a bit easier I'd strongly advise you to do as much research as you can before you buy any of these guys. With some of the wrasses and eels your going to have to get a really big tank! Also lots of these guys may not get along very well at all.

I would suggest that you made a eco system before putting any dangerous fish in there coz you don't want to get bitten. I would love to see a eel take a cold fish though, always liked predetor tanks.
