parrot fish info please

Parrot Cichlids are awesome fish, they have pretty unique behaviors. They're usually peaceful but would chase other fish on occasion. I have 2 parrots myself and they just bring so much life into a tank

Yes, it is fresh water. I wouldn't even consider it if it was salt water (way beyond me!) They only said the "shark" was seven inches long. Guess I'll find out if I go there. Also said there are two goldfish in the tank with them. Maybe I could get a friend of mine to take the goldfish.

The goldfish, assuming they are Fancys or Very Fancys, will need at least 30 gallons to themselves, but a 40g tank would be better. The tank also needs to be double filtered. Goldies are very waste-producing fish. They shouldn't really be put with tropicals as they need a lower temperature than most and have very different dietary needs.

If they are pond goldfish, they really should be put in a pond. They will grow way too big for a regular in-house tank (12-36" in size, depending on type).
