The goldfish, assuming they are Fancys or Very Fancys, will need at least 30 gallons to themselves, but a 40g tank would be better. The tank also needs to be double filtered. Goldies are very waste-producing fish. They shouldn't really be put with tropicals as they need a lower temperature than most and have very different dietary needs.

If they are pond goldfish, they really should be put in a pond. They will grow way too big for a regular in-house tank (12-36" in size, depending on type).
