i tryed to figure it out but i cant. i want to set up a account so i can recive payments and i am going to receive more then 5 a month but im not sure which one what kind does everyone use on here. when they sell plant clippings or live fish im confused sumone help me:confused:
 
there are 2 major type accounts..... personal or business..... personal account you can take payments from money already in paypal or from a bank account. your limited to taking out 500 a month but you can do what i do often is spend the money buying from others..... your limited to i think 5 credit card / debit card payments a year... they charge you a 30 cent fee plus a higher percent then a business account....

business account you get charged a fee for every single payment plus a percent. you also get a debit card which makes spending the money really easy.

about 1/2 the payments i get are from credit card depit cards.... if you cant take them your limiting who will buy or they will have to transfer the money which takes a couple days. what i end up doing was opening two accounts i have a business account and personal account. when i buy stuff i pay though personal account when i am out i can get lunch or what ever with the card.

I started with the personal account and later upgraded to the biz account.

the paypal debit card is awesome, I can sell some old junk on ebay and use the cash right away for gas or whatever.

I suppose it depends on what you plan to use the account for, buying or selling?
It is really frustrating when you can not accept credit card payments, but if you are just planning on using it now and then to buy stuff, its not a problem..
 
ok you can accept credit card debit cards but its only 12 a year....

i plan on selling my blue crawfish when the berry hatches. all i wanna do is sell them not intrested in buying anyhting really. will this money go my bank account? is the biz account best for this? sorry im just really dumb at this
 
no one can answer it but you..... you can start with personal and upgrade later..... the money will go to your bank account with both accounts..... do you plan on selling more then 500 a month? is it worth waiting for people to transfer money or not being able to buy since you cant take credit cards vs paying the fees?
 
prolly less then 50 maybe even less so with the biz account they can use thier debt cards and stuff to pay me correct
