PC Lighting

Can anyone give me recommendations on what kind of bulbs I should get for my tank. I have a PC with two bulbs currently with white and blue (was used on my old reef tank). I'm not sure if it is too much light not enough I have no idea if one white light and atinic light are right for planted aquariums. Are there specifically designed bulbs for planted freshwater that are PC? I would be willing to change out the "blue" for one more suited to plants still would want a daylight bulb though cause i enjoy my fish and like to see them.

It has been my experience that the blue light is essential for healthy plant growth. Maybe Mgamer20o0 can gi into detail about this.

are they actinic blue?

they may not do much for plant growth. wrong light spectrum.

thanks for the link I was just about to ask as I ma replacing my vho with PC lighting (4X65) on my 75 and was looking for a good source for bulbs.
the VHO will go over my 110 x that already has 260 watts.
I have several daylight, and actinic bulbs for the vho to use on my 110 marine.
