Hey guyyz! I'm starting up a 3 gallon Picotope planted vivarium for either green tree frogs or PDF's, what I need is answers!
Which is better for a first timer, PDF's or GTF's? Remember, they are going in a 3 gallon vivarium.
It will be shallow water, heavyily planted, heated, misted, and covered. Here are the questions:
What substrate should I use for both water and land?
Painted or 3D background?
Wood or not?
Can you only be poisoned by a PDF through a cut or open wound?
How bad is a PDF's poison?
Can it be cured?
How many PDF's can I keep in a 3 gallon?
How many GTF's can I keep in a 3 gallon?
How many Fire-Bellied Newts can I keep in a 3 gallon?
How can I over a PicoTope and still have acess?
Should I even be attempting this?
Should I even be posting here, or should I be directed to another site?

Thanks for all your help! I have a lot of time to plan this, as I am broke and Christmas is coming. This is mostly just a fantasy plan, but I have the tank empty and waiting and I want something new to try. :)

Thanks guys! My decision is made and all the stuff that came with the PicoTope is in a box and stored neatly away. May try and sell it later in life.
