I just got a 10 gallon tank and I had a few african dwarf frogs in there but they died from a disease carried over from the pet store. Now I just have a tank with 2 mystery snails in it and I'm thinking about getting some pea puffers and angelfish. Can someone tell me if they're compatible with one another? I dont want to put them in a tank together only to have them attack one another. Also, are they territorial and how many should I get? Thanks!! :)

I gotta agree with MG here. The angles will be way to big for a 10, but the puffers would do well with a trio. Just plant the tank or atleast somehow break up the line of sight and your good.

3 is pushing it for dwarf/pea puffers, i've kept many and they need space and separate territories.

one better at the most 2 make sure you havn't got 2 males

As long as only one is a male (or better yet, there are no males at all), you should be fine with three in a planted 10g.

3 DP's are fine in a 10 gallon. The mystery snails will probably get ravaged by the DP's.

Ditto. Check out www.thepufferforum.com for more info about puffers, their diet, and caring for puffers. They are scale-less fish, so they are very sensitive to water conditions and medications.

I advise always using a parasite med when you first get them as most come from the wild and are highly likely to be carrying internal parasites. Soak their food in it. Also, their food consists of meaty, crunchy invertabrates like snails, shrimp, clams, etc. They will try to eat your snails and probably succeed. They are excellent little hunters.
