This guy is almost 4" long and two years old. He doesn't harass any other tank mates, eats only algae and waits his turn during the spirulina feasts. I have even seen an Oto scraping his back for a meal and he didn't even flinch.

All this is to say that not all CAE's are poor community tank mates. What are your experiences with CAE's?
 
I've mentioned it before, my Sam is a big sissy.

You know how corys dig around so they are at a 45 degree angle? Well, they go digging and Sam happens to be in the way and they just bash right into him and dig under him. Sometimes there are 3 corys digging under him at one time. He just sits there and takes it - just like when the guppies peck at him.

I will only keep it on for a short time as I'm worried about bandwidth transfers.

edit... oh, I've had Sam 8 years last June.

The guppy attack was simply horrifying, I don't think I will sleep for a week. :eek:
 
I've had CAE's in the past and have seen the aggressiveness of them. I won't have them again..

SAE's will do fine.. :)
