Is a peacock eel compadible with african cichlids?

I don't think a peacock eel would be a good choice for tha african tank. First because they need softer water then africans, africans need ph around 8 and eels like it around 7. Also eels are known to be shy and hard to feed,So it will be hard to get it to eat around the africans.

So all in all i would suggest a peacock eel as a tankmate for africans. They belong more in a peaceful comunity(with fish it can't eat or fish taht will pick on them) or species tanks.

Plus if you were planning on adding it with your current africans then your tank is way too small.Peaocck eels can get around 10"
