I have a pair of peacock gobys that spawn at least once a week. She lays 100s of eggs on the glass & Dad fans them. They live in my 90g community tank. Every morning the eggs are gone, to who knows. I tried to put the pair into the only other extra tank I have, a 15g, but they were very unhappy in there. Since the eggs are on the glass, I am worried about scraping them off, to put in the 15g, they might get damaged. Also, I worry about fungus, since Dad wouldn't be caring for them in the smaller tank. I've tried to offer them a piece of slate, but they choose the glass.

Opps! You know, you're right, it is a gudgeon. I knew it was FW, but along w/the pufferfolk, I figured all the gobyfolk hung out here too. I'll try this in FW.

I see your point, I forgot to answer your original post. Put in a pvc pipe and let them spawn in it. Then remove the pvc pipe after spawning and put it into a tank with the exact conditions the gudgeon tank had (minus the gudgeons of course).
