pearling or bubbing plants

Whats a good type of plant that will release streams of bubbles? I had a nice none a few years ago but don't remember the name.

pearlweed is one. Also known as HM or Hemianthus micranthemoides

All plants will pearl a ton if you give it the right conditions. I can get my amazon swords, HC, java moss all to pearl.

I think getting slow growing plants like anubis nana to pearl is pretty difficult even with perfect conditions.

The plants the pearl the easiest are the fast growing plants.

My vals throw up streams of bubbles after a water change. I don't use CO2 so this is as close as I get to pearling.

Most stems like Ludwigia, Rotala, Myrio etc will pearl good if given good conditions.

What exactly is pearling and why does it happen?
