You mean to say you have a filter just running water like a circulation device and not filtering anything?

Or, maybe you just mis understood the question asked above?

Either way please elaborate I am curious to know exactly what you mean, especially, if in fact, you do have no filtration in your filter.

This is why I love my AC's!
I can put anything I want in them (within size constraints), bagged or un-bagged, no cartriges.
And since I modified them with bio-wheels they are, IMO, better than just about any other HOB.

But Hey!!!... Guess what?... You can put just about anything into your Marineland too ... Just be creative, floss, sponges, bio-balls, ceramic rings and ect... Bag'em or whatever and away you go.

Why not just add some floss? It wont hurt anything.
