I bought 6 penguin tetra from my local fish store and was told they where a peaceful community fish. Right now they are in my 15 gallon tank with 8 neon tetras and one german blue ram. The are turning aggressive to there own kind and sometimes the neon tetras (german blue ram is like its in his own world). The employee of the pet store said I should maybe get 1 or 2 more penguins but will this help???

Never owned penguin tetras, but they might just be establishing a pecking order in the tank. See if it settles down in a few days. Also, does the tank seem cramped? 15 fish in a 15 gallon seems a bit tight, especially with all those schooling fish you have.

They have been aggressive for about 5 days i cant really remember but the tank doesn't look too crapped

Welcome, Howard
Never had penguins, but other tetras I have (Serpaes, Black Phantoms, Red Eyes) do spar a little for territory, regardless of how many in the school. I think it's pretty normal for them, and haven't seen any serious damage.

:rofl:I love that about rams!My Bolivians are the same way. They rarely notice any tankmates.
