I recently upgraded to a larger tank for my sons turtle. We finally got the Cascade 1000 filter primed and running but its loud and the output spray arm is sputtering w/ a lot of air. I've tried to tilt the canister in every direction to get the air out and also pushed the prime while running but it doesn't help at all. I do have more hose than I need so my next step is to cut the hose down. Could the excess hose be an issue? It's been running for a couple hours now and nothing has changed.
