Does anyone feed their fish chopped mussels, raw shrimp, clams or anything else that us humans eat at the local Red Lobster?

Just curious, as I would think a live mussle would have more nutritional value than frozen brine or flake.

You wouldn't want to add anything that was cooked into your tank but all of those items can be bought at the grocery store raw. Purify it all together in a blender and freeze it in a zip lock. Take off small pieces, thaw them out, and I think your livestock will love it. Be careful not to overfeed though.

Raw is good. I feed whole, shell on shrimp to my predator tank--the trigger and burr fish love them. Cockles and mussels are also given as treats--great for fish that need crunchy foods.

I crush a clove of garlic and soak the fish food with it. - the fish love it .
