Peppered Corys are brutal diggers

I have 4 species of Cory's.
The peppered Corys are the most violent. They push their nose very deep into the gravel, actually it looks quite violent when they search for food, compared to the more gentle grazing of the Julii, Davidsandsi or Adolfoi.
Often they are up till their eyes into the gravel.
Does anyone have the same experience?
Is anything wrong?

Hi,

Nothing is wrong. Thats just normal Cory behavior. Some species just like to dig more "aggressively".

My green cories get pretty "into it" when they dig - it's violent, but not deep.

I have a gravel substrate, but now that you mention it, my corydoras do seem to be quite the active pair...

They do like to dig, especially if given some nice sand to play in!
