This is a little off the subject of fish but I would like to share with you all my experience yesterday. I work in the aquatics department of Petco. (I don't agree with their practices but I like the discount!) But anyways, this guy calls up and wanted to know if we could adopt his 8"pleco and three commets. I said sure bring them in.

The fish looked healthy and the guy said that he had to get rid of them because he was moving. He also asked me if I knew anyone who wanted a 125gallon Tall tank and stand. I said I would like it at a reasonable price...

He looked at me and said I could have it for free! Amazing. So long story short, even though Petco is a PITA, I recieved a free 125tall and oak stand to match absolutely free.

nice pick up but thats not all that uncommon working at a lfs it really just depends on whos walking thro the front door

Yeah I know its not uncommon at the fish store. We get some pretty cool stuff all the time. This one just tops them all though!

Ugh, now I wish I didn't work at a hospital! I get my flu shots and some labs free every year, but IMHO, that doesn't compare with a 125g with stand. Nice pick up!

Proof is in the picture! I am sad though because my apartment complex won't let me set it up. Anything over 55 is a no go.... It's going to have to wait for fish.
