Pet Peeve: The Correct Spelling is "Detritus"

OK, thanks for pointing this out.

I have a few of my own, seems like people get confused with using the word "to" and "too".

Also, when shopping for antique furniture on ebay people often write "draws" instead of drawers.

On the other hand, I was an art major and am not the best at spelling and grammar......feel free to FLAME me at anytime now, LOL.

debris, not debri (the gravel vac sucks debris off the bottom of the tank)

wary, not weary (i would be wary of using rid-ich with clown loaches)

OK....who's next...............

Pet peeve of mine, correct spelling is B_E_T_T_A.
Not beta which is part of the Greek alphabet.

who is pet peeve and does he know its 'colour' not 'color'...........

It's "colour" in the UK and "color" in the US. Thank you for that incorrect correction. BTW, who said anything about color anyway?

Furthermore, a "Pet Peeve" is not a person, it is a particular and often continual annoyance.

Think McFly, think.
