The only time I get dirt under my fingernails is when I'm digging for earthworms.

When guys have really long fingernails. I seen a dude who had his at about 1/2 an inch long.

Also, coworkers who make loud nasty sounds while trying to clear their throats/nasal passageways! I have a man that sits in a cubicle about 20 ft. away from where my desk is, and when he makes those gross noises, it sounds like he's right beside me because of how loud it is!

im not sure how you would get nasty nails like that in a computer environment.. but those of us who work on cars have that problem on a daily basis!

Who knows what this guy's doing in his own free time! That's why it's esp. disgusting that he has this issue! It's not like his line of work is grubby!

Sorry, in my first comment about nasty nails, I meant to say that LONG nails with dirt under them is gross. I can handle dirt under the nails a little better when they're short, but seeing crooked, funky long nails on a guy... ewww. My coworker who taps my computer screen has long dirty nails. Double whammy!
