Cell phones. I got one , but use it for a phone call maybe once in a blue moon. How can you talk THAT much for so long? I get a customer coming into my shop, and they will carry on with their phone call-they get put on ignore mode. Why do you have to walk around talking with your ear piece at the top of your voice; we are not interested. Driving on the phone; does talking on the phone disconnect that part of your brain that goes with driving?
Driving. That little stalk by your steering wheel? It's called a turn Signal. Gives me a clue before you suddenly brake and turn. Same with the rear view mirrors; they are there so you can see me before you dart across my bow making that last minute right hand turn. I'm glad you have stereo in your car-but do have to hear it also? Lane discipline-stay right unless your going faster than the others; then get back into the right hand lane.
Movie sterotypes about guns/gun usage. Why does the Cop always open the cylinder of his revolver before going in to meet the bad guy? The gun was loaded earlier; think the Bullet Fairy stole them? Same with the semi auto-why rack the slide to check the load or to load one in the chamber? Little late for that! Funny how the gun never runs out of ammo; and how the Good Guy only needs one shot, while the Bad Guy empties (or would have in real life) his gun trying to hit you.
