Pet Smart aquarium stands

Agreed, because when you get the iron stand wet it doesnt warp in a matter of days :P

Yep....exactly! That is what happened to my first stand-it took a while...but when I finally moved it...it was disgusting and had to be replaced before the tank could go back on! So I really would rather go with Wrought Iron or home made(specially made)...2x4+!!

With particleboard stands, you could consider putting something between the tank and the stand to prevent spilled water from getting through.

i have one of the wrought iron stands for a 29g tank. no problem with the way it's been doing the job, but the legs are an issue. they flare out to support the tank better and remove the possibility of tipping over, but i always worry i'm going to walk by and catch a toe on one of the legs. it hasn't happened yet and probably won't, but doing that hurts so much i try to avoid it as much as possible. i guess all i can really say is to not use one of those stands in a narrow hallway where you might walk by it barefoot a lot.
