My husband and I were at our LFS yesterday evening looking at new aquariums when an employee came over to ask how we were doing. We explained that we were browsing for a new aquarium because some of the fish that we had are getting too big for the one we currently own. He asked what size aquarium that we had and what we kept in it. When we told him, he got that look on his face like look at the stupid fish people, and told us that we need a MUCH larger tank. My husband, irritated at this point, pointed out that he was instructed by the manager of that very store that the fish that we have in the tank were the fish to go with and sold us all of th fish knowing we had a 33g aquarium. The employee then had the nerve to say that no, they did not sell them to us, that we chose to purchase them and that it is our fault. I then instructed my husband to drop it and we left the LFS a few minutes that, not exactly happy campers. I know we did not exactly get advice yaterday, but I was about ready to slap that boy upside his head. And this is one of the supposed premier fish retailers in the area. Make me see RED! :mad2
