Pet-Tech Habi-Scape Rock Wall

Hi...

Has anyone had any experience with the Pet-Tech Habi-Scape Rock Walls? They're designed for terrariums but claim to be OK for aquariums as well. If you have, is it difficult to keep clean? Also, the package says it's not compatable with certain types of filtration. Does anyone know which ones?

Don't know about keeping clean but my guess with filtration is that it wouldn't work with Hang on Backs or something like that. As it sticks off the back wall of the tank that may be what determines compatibility.

That was one of the problems I had. I went to a glass shop and had them make up a custom plexiglass lid for my 5.5 gallon tank. The HOB filter can now rest on the side of the tank, the strip light fits nicely and there's nothing in the way of the rock wall. I was just concerned Pet-Tech's warning might have been chemical in nature.
