its not that they think its going to be nutritious.. it has nothing to do with that. it has to do with their ideas about us using milk from their precious animals.
 
I find it funny how ppl are willing to drink milk from another animal, but not from their own species.

I wouldn't drink breast milk either, but for the life of me i can't come up with any logical reason why i wouldn't. The best I came up with is that it's gross.

Any good reason why we shouldn't drink breast milk? If it was put to the same standards, or higher, as cow milk and the "donors" selection had the same guidelines as blood donors, Would anyone drink it then?
 
I've been a nursing mom for the past 8 years, and I'm vegan, and even I am totally confused as to why PETA would do this stunt. Now my kids love the idea though!

There are human milk banks because it saves lives. The milk is pumped and and overnighted to a bank where they screen it and do other stuff to it to make sure it's safe.

It's just kind of insulting to take something as valuable as breast milk and want to make ice cream out of it:/

How about mouse milk ice cream? whale milk ice cream? dog milk ice cream? Cow milk ice cream? :)

I've found a method for making whale milk ice cream here... http://www.candidatestats.com/whale milk ice cream.html , although I can't figure out why you'd want to as the author says 'A blue whale's milk tastes like a mixture of fish, liver, milk of magnesia, and castor oil.' Mmmm...another bowl of the fins & organs flavored one for me.... :barf:

The very thought of using human milk in foods makes me feel like vomiting. So much risk for disease.
I'm probably completely loony for this, but I don't even want to have some random stranger's blood or organs put in me even if I'll die otherwise, and this whole thing is just a hundred times worse.

This is exactly what Peta wants is for people to be talking about. That and the fact they really have no clue where reality stops and fantasy begins....

Too be real honest I happen to agree that we should set all the animals free... Deer season sucked up here maybe Cow season would be better.
