Petco/Petsmart's tropical fern?

the fern that petco sells is Java, but dont buy the one that petsmart sells...

yes they're java ferns, all the plants that they have are true aquatic plants, grown hydroponically. its really a pretty neat little contraption

actually, quite a few aren't.. ever see mondo grass in those tubes? non aquatic. that fern posted above? non-aquatic. you really have to be careful, they'll pass off most anything with leaves and a moist tube as a water plant.

Also when buying plants, plants grown hydorponically (sp?) can have an issue when acclimating to the water conditions so you will have some dying back. Give them tiem they should resprout.
