This thread is proabably in the wrong place, but I want the whole world to know.

Until October 15th (this sunday), all of the Petco stores (I've seen in California) are having a sale where you buy an "All-Glass" stand, and you get the matching tank for free (without overflows).

The 55 gal and 75 gal are really cheap!!!

Already got my 125gal today. Nice stand, beautiful tank, $325.00 brand new.

Where I live, unless you search craigslist for 3 months and find a dirty, scratched tank, thats the best deal for a newe tank.
 
Can you post a link where you saw that because all I saw was stands on sale, but no tanks going with them for free.
 
I didn't see that special listed in their circular, but I did see it advertised in our local Petco here in Alaska.
 
That is a good deal considering that I got my All Glass Aquarium (75 gallon) for $399.00 for tank and stand. You got a 125 gallon for $325.00.
 
How nice is the stand?

At my local walmart, they have 55 gallons with a stand, including hood, filter & 1 free 20lb bag of substrate for $150. 75 gallon was alittle over $190 I think.
 
I saw the sale going on at the Petco by my work, I saw it again at the Petco by my house. When I called my friend who is also an avid fish enthusiast, he said that they were having the same sale at his Petco in the San Francisco bay area.

I move a bookshelf or two (or the big screen, or the couch, or the dining room set) and say "wouldn't that tank look amazing here?" Then proceed to tell her that she can't say no because I have the guys coming over on saturday to reinforce the floor.
 
I never posted this but my guy at Petco and I are buddy buddy and when I ordered my 37 hi (no stand, hood, nothing else) he told me about the sale but I couldn't afford the $200 stand. The tank he ordered fo me was $85 I think. Anyway, he went to ring me up (I was having the tank delivered) and because of this sale (he probably entered the promo code) the tank being free with the stand just voided itself out and rung up as $0!!!!!!!!!! I looked at him, he looked at me and said "ok, with delivery, your total comes to $20.20 with the delivery" I was freakin out!! I ended up buying him a gift card to thank him for the free tank!!! So, yeah, its a great sale ;)
