Petco Tank SALE!!!

I grabed a 72 gal bowfront with the stand for $159 out the door.

Hmm I don't have one around where I live, but I might just take a 1 hour drive to Montgomery to see if the sale is there too. Darn the local Petco for not be open until next month.

I went to a few of my local PetCo's and they do have the sale where you buy the stand and get a matching tank, but it is only on in stock items which are usually smaller tanks. I was looking for a 75 and none of them have them in stock. Most said they have to special order anything over 55 as they don't regularly carry much over 55.

I talked to the guys at the Petco with the best tanks, and the clerk admitted that it was only a good deal for the larger sized tanks. That the tank stand and 75 or 90 tanks were pretty cheep, but the smaller ones didn't actually save that much. I agree--I looked at the 38g stand--it was 220+$, whereas the tank alone would be 75$.

This sale has been going on for a few weeks now, and I have posted it already twice .

They just sell the stuff that's standing around. One of my nearest Petcos had a crap selection, but another one had lots of choice. I'd really like to have one of the bigger tanks. However, I cannot have any big tanks in my apartment, which is why I will have to skip on this one. And the small stands just look crappy.

stopped by Petco and sure enough...buy the stand and get the tank free.

not a bad deal but they have crappy stands. and you would still need to get all the goodies with it..still a good deal tho.


but they only had the small tanks less than 30 gal.
