Oh how bad i want a 40gB or even a 55. We all need to stop posting that this sale is going on before i spend my life savings on fish tanks and have no money to fill them

Well that's their hope at least.
I won't buy anything fish-related besides tanks and bettas at petco (and the bettas only because sometimes the local one has some surprisingly nice ones) so their marketing strategy doesn't work so well on me. :lol2: I doubt they lose money on these even at $1/gal though... They'd probably have a quantity limit on them if they did.

You know you want to. 40Bs are an awesome size; I personally like them better than 55s. I just got the last two 20Ls they had and it was all I could do to resist picking up another 40B even though the two I have aren't set up yet. It helped that I took my gf and my brother with me so I couldn't have fit a 40 in the car without stuffing one of them in the trunk anyhow :lol2:
Just the tank. Hood, stand, and light is separate. And if you buy the 40B, don't buy the petco stand. The tank is supported by the narrow end of like a 1x2. Pathetic.
How'd you swing that? I thought the biggest tank they were selling was a 55 at 1/galllon.
