Its been a good day, I went to the closet Petsmart near me, just to browse and they had the Eheim II Pro's 2026 and 2028, reduced to clear. 2026 was $149 and the 2028s at $199. So I purchase a 2028 and move a Ecco 2236, the largest model to a 10gal with a giant Betta, overkill but in essence I added a sump and increase the effective volume by 1.5 gal. And I noticed that in a new store, that was built in less than a year, they dont stock any eheim products either. But petsmart.com does still sell Eheim, and at some of the best prices on the web too.
And to top it off, all the Python parts were reduced to clear in 3 different stores, so I pickup a complete set of parts for $10 and will eventually grab some tubing from a home depot or RV store. But the Python kits are still priced like normal and stocked.
