petsmart GBRs

The EBJD's were only 10 bucks at my store! And they actually looked pretty good. Like better than most I've seen in other stores it was nuts. I wish I had a free 55.

my local petco which is out in the middle of nowhere (near the topsfield fair) gets a "rare" new fish every week or two. They recently had GSP's, and all the PetCo's I've been too have had GBR's.

my petsmart had 2 new fish which were the gbrs and julie cory cats. The 2 GBRs i picked up are looking great and for me personally i would trust petsmart GBRs than a LFS

opposite here. we have a decent LFS though that actually gets in some homegrown stock from time to time. petsmart seems to be more of a crap shoot depending on who is working in the fish dept at the time.

The Petsmart near me is good. Clean, healthy tanks and very good survival rates. The most knowledgeable staff of the 3 pet stores here. I prefer them for everything except bettas. I prefer a local store that houses female bettas together, male bettas in quart jars instead of cups, and has big, beautiful bettas.

mine doesn't have them

they do have $1.49 albino cories, though

I have been so close to getting some!! I'm wanting to wait until after Christmas, since I'll be getting some gift cards. It's confusing - the website flyer for the Petsmart nearest me says the fish are on sale until January 1st or 2nd, but the actual store says they're on sale until December 24th..... not sure which is right....
I did pick up another female today (for the 20g sorority/BN tank), which brings the number up to 4 bettas in that tank.:headshake2:
I'm hopeless....

I went to one of my local petsmart stores today and they had EBJD's there, and man they are teeny tiny. I didn't see any other tags for new arrivals, but I did notice they have a tank full of bolivian rams, so that may be their new stock.
They have the genetically modified glo-fish on sale also at 2 for 5.

The one real deal I saw, though, was past the reptile section near the shelves with the christmas stuff. They have 10 gallon tank kits by Aqueon for 20 dollars. It includes tank, hood and filter.

I'd consider picking up some of those and selling the tank and light on Craig's list for $20.00. Sell the filters a week later for $10.00.
