Is it true that if you take a print out to a local Petsmart of the price of something that Petsmart sells on the internet that they will match the price at the store of something that is in stock
Do you mean that if the Petsmart site has something for cheaper than the store, they ill give it to you for that price, or if you print something from another site, like Big Al's they will match it?
I think they will match their online prices, but I would call and check first before I waste a trip. IME, foster and smith or big als is cheaper for most of the stuff I want either way
Since big al's guarantees that they will beat any online price by 5% if you find it at a lower price, so it really only makes sense to order stuff from them...Just my $.02
My Petsmart was willing to price match as long as I printed out the item off of their website to show the price difference. The stores have some seriously jacked up prices compared to the website.
One thing about the big Al's Price match (got to read the fine print) is that it includes shipping costs. I was going to try it on a filter, but Big Al's had much cheaper shipping, and it didn't pay.
IME, only the managers are truly aware of this policy. I've done this at 2 or 3 Petsmarts and every manager has done so without hesitation but the always wanted to see the print out. The cashiers in each case were completely unaware so if you go when the manager is not on duty, you may be out of luck.
