Petsmart Sales??

I want to buy a new aquarium, and I was wondering if anyone knew when Petsmart might be running any major sales on aquariums.

Also, do you know if they will be giving out any coupons?

dont think they ever really had a major aquarium sale. petco normally once a year has a $1 a gallon sale though.

I wanted to wait until after Chrimstmas to get another tank, that way I will have some denero to spend.

Hopefully, They will have a coupon or something coming out soon.

if you don't have to have something brand new, craigslist is a much more cheap and viable alternative. A few different places have a $1/gal sale, but the catch is that you still need to get the equipment and stand so its going to cost you to put it all together. Find a nice setup on CL complete and cheaper =]

Really, all i find on craigslist is ridiculously priced stuff. I saw a guy w/ a 30 gallon tank and light wanting 100 dollars and the light was a single t8 fixture.

I bought (16) 15g tanks off of CL about a month ago, all in great shape for $60. The key is just to sift through the ads and keep checking, there are deals there.

Not really luck as much as patience, I don't barter with people. I bought 14 -40b's earlier this year from someone on cl for 10 each also.
