What kind of snails are destroying your plants?

they have some really cute mystery snails. I was very tempted to buy Do all snails get along? I have ramshorns (2)

ford is closer on the money. sure its not lack of light killing the plants. snails tend to eat dead plant matter.

Good point Mg. Snails shouldn't be eating live plants...

Get some yoyo loaches excellent snail control, depending on if the size of your tank can accomodate them comfortably.

I agree that it's a bad idea to get fish only for the purpose of eating snails. msjinkzd has good advice about removing as many snails as you can by manually picking them out and then trapping them. As far as aquaticmagic goes, they're located in malaysia, which is why it takes a few weeks for items to get to people in the U.S. I wouldn't buy certain plants from them that would end up wilting into a brown mess on their way to me, but I've ordered non-perishable items and a couple of anubias plants from them, and all was well. The anubias looked great. It took about 3-4 weeks for the stuff to arrive, but I'm a patient person .

I ordered some anubias and some Java Fern.

Not sure what kind of snails they are but I do know they love the Moss. I started picking out the snails. Tomorrow, I'll take out the Hornwort and Java Moss (during a water change) but leave in the Java Fern. Not sure if I could save the moss by rinsing it out, it looks like it's too far gone. I'm still thinking about a assasin snail. I don't have any sand in my tank and I don't want them to multiply (no room).
