I saw the tag at my Petsmart too! They also had a tag for amano shrimp! It's been two weeks, but they haven't gotten either of them in.

OhNo123: The bamboo shrimp were discontinued, which is why the tag says they're so low. Unfortunately, the store probably won't be getting any more in.
My store has gotten in both the amanos and the SAEs. To my unexperienced eye, from the internet descriptions/pictures, they seem to be true SAEs, but they're sooo tiny (1/2-3/4").
The "giant" gouramis are actually "Banded Gouramis" Colista fasciata. They do only get about 4" and are colored similar to the dwarf gouramis. Very pretty fish.

I saw my first flying foxes tonight at The Hidden Reef. And it's funny - they look almost nothing like SAEs.
Kerrid - many stores label the SAEs as flying foxes, but that is largely because from what I recall, SAEs are known as "Siamese" flying foxes.

So far, I think these are the real deal and if you want a SAE I suggest you get them NOW. PetSmart is currently introducing a lot of new species to see what will sell and what won't. Basically, they could be here today and gone tomorrow. SAEs are currently listed under "Opportunity Buy" which means they are available for a limited time.
My PetSmart got in their first amano shrimp and SAE a couple weeks ago. I brought home one of each (and will purchase another amano now that I see my single shrimp is currently thriving). Yes, it is a true SAE; I researched it once I brought him home. He is very small at the moment, but has a huge appetite. He has grown quite a bit already! I'm very happy with them. 
They just got in their horseface loaches and blushing gold skirts today, although they've had their tags up for a couple weeks now.

The SAEs at my petsmart were only $1.99. Picked up three a few days ago for my big tank. They are VERY small though. Not much more than 1".

I thought that was cheap for the amanos, i thought most sites/stores sold them for around $8, could be wrong though (and i'm very sleep deprived so i could just be nuts).
Got the fish order today and didn't get any amano's or sae's
we have 2 amano's left in the tank so i was hoping for a new bag of them. we did get a really cool goldfish with bushy eyebrows though...(you had to see it)
