Wow wish I could get em for that here... there 6.99 last I checked.
Another thing I just saw at petsmart for the first time... Monos! They had two tanks full of em, probably 3-4 dozen, no price or info tag on the tanks yet. I wonder how many of them well be sold to those with suitable tanks!

Thats true but remember there often sold at about 1" long and the size of a needle. It can be really hard to tell em apart when they are so small. 2" or more no prob. And the flying fox is not the only thing they are confused with (like the false siamensis).
^The mono sebaes were opportunity fish a couple months ago and should have been phased out of the inventory recently.. The ones in my area were clearanced from 13.99 to 9.50, then to 7.50, and I think even a little lower to get rid of the last few. Opportunity fish should be transitioned at the same time nationwide, so it's odd that your PetSmart still has them. Then again, they probably aren't selling because they are not priced/tagged! Luckily, the tag does state that they get quite large and are brackish fish (in large, capitalized, bold print).

Now while that is a good thing, PetsMart's info cards are still retarded. The fact that it tells me a blue gourami "requires" aquarium salt still has me spinning with frustration.

Very true. My store is no longer getting them. We got two shipments and that was it. However, if the vendor still has some in stock, they will continue to send them to random stores until they run out.
Yeah like I said our store had several dozen. They did have an info tag though, but no price tag. The info tag states tank size 40g +... maybe for 6 months! lol.
I bought the last SAE in the tank at my petsmart last night. he is EXTREMELY tiny though. he was in the same tank as some CAE's which im sure will be sold as SAE's now that i've bought their last one. despite being that tiny he has already done the work of three otos in just one night. i made the mistake of setting up a tank with PC lighting in front of a window. now this guy gets to clean up my mess!
