Well bought phosphate buffer and when realised it might harm plants have bought instead seachem acid and alkaline buffer which if done in right ratios (1:2) should give steady ph of 7.0 and as non-phosphate and more sodium bicarb based give sme more peace of mind. Anyway sinc emy last post have done 3 25% water changes and introduced buffer, fish seem quite happy for now. Certainly seem very hungry, but am not giving in to their demands! But as for crushed coral, seems very har dto buy here in england not found single fish shop that stocks it yet-but hope to go down that route in long term...
