I seem to always be adding PH UP to my tank. Is there a cheaper product than PH UP I can use? I keep the tank very clean, nitrite-amonia is never a problem just the PH being down. Thanks, Dennfish45

Most likely to be caused by a lack of KH (carbonate hardness). This can be increased by crushed coral in the filter, it will raise the KH and in turn will help the Ph maintain a higher level. If you can get a KH tester it will help you out

Jam is dead on! I use crushed coral in all my cichlid tanks... keeps it just perfect!

ph raising/lowering products usually just cause more problems than they fix. The test kits and results recommended would be good to know. Your LFS might be able to do them for free, just get actual numbers. What is your ph out of the tap?
