But I think its better to see at your local water providers page, its more accurate (look for number) & free.I will invest in an API kit. I got a freshwater master kit now.
I see no overall hardness there. Maybe try giving them a call and ask them just for overall hardness?i looked on the water providers page but its a bunch of confusing tables and charts. maybe you can make some sense of it if it have time to look. Here's a pdf of the 2020 water report. http://www.mcdowellpsd.com/uploads/4/8/9/8/48986521/ccr_water_report_2020__covering_calendar_year_2019.pdf. There is not a report on the area where i live so it might be easier to get a kit.
I've seen reports which showed some nitrate in the water but in most places, tap water will contain zero or virtually zero nitrate.none in the tap water. good right?
thank youSome places do have at least "some" nitrate in the tap water. It can be from farm run-off, sometimes seasonal. Live plants can help with that...& every tank!! (I belong to a plant club & think every tank "needs" at least some plants, lol.)
I looked at your water co. page & it's just a list of things that "maybe" harmful at high levels. Nothing about GH or KH...get a test for them.
