Got another question to. Everything was fine I did a water change on Sat pro about 20-25 % water change. And i havent done one before this and every thing was fine. Do I still have to do all the test or just ph and nitates when i do the water change?

I did do all test all was 0. beside the ph level not sure what that was.

Well, my testing routine is like this..

Every week i test for nitrATe, pH, Salinity, calc and Alk

Every two weeks i test for ammonia, nitratITE

Some people might say not to test so much, but i like to be in control as much as possible and constantly monitor what is happening in the tank. That way, i will hopefully notice when something goes a stray...

And i dont test for at least 48 hours after a water change, this gives all the water a good chance to mix in...

that usually means that the picture is too big. When you click on manage attachments, scroll down and it tells you the files sizes allowed..

I checked my water i was useing last night and it was like 8.6-8.8 ph the fresh water i was useing to top off. What should I do Change some of my water ?

you never what to go over 8.4 really. is that your aquarium water of the top off water i was confused on that
