my aqua ph right now is 7.7.. i already drip kalwasser for 4 days ... but it's still didn't up the ph

KH is 12..... ph 7.7

i think the ph tester was incorrect... but i has try in 3 different water...

plan water... ph 7
my aqua .... ph 7.7
and kals ...... ph 12

i remember that since 5 days ago.. i use a coca cola bottle to drip my kalsium... and is it the problem... maybe.. because i wasted it with plan water only 3-4 times... that's all

so why my PH decrease... and can't go up .....
 
If your KH is 12, you need to stop dosing kalkwasser. I suggest that you take 2 samples of your water. With one, immediately test the pH. The other, leave it out and aerate it overnight. Test it the next morning and check the difference. You basically want to see how much CO2 was in there.

I do find it odd, however, that the kalkwasser didn't have much of an effect. Not only does it significantly raise the pH for added calcium and alkalinity. It also aggressively reacts with carbon dioxide, so it should have lowered that a lot as well. However, if your KH was already reasonably high, it wouldn't have done you much good, anyway.

What are you using to test pH? It may not hurt to get a second test or something to at least try to verify this...
 
yeah... it's been up again... i has been thinking last night... and put another air rator to boost up O2 in the tank... and the PH has raise again today.... i think it's become O2 problem... ehmmm... i should has somethink to do right now with my tank right now
