Have you done an acid test with this substrate? I bet if you dropped a piece into some vinegar that you'd see some fizzing.

A stronger acid works better if you have it. It is a common test for geologists.

Hey thanks! So I used household vinegar yesterday and I swear I could hear a very faint sizzle. Almost like pop rocks candy but on a much smaller smaller volume scale.
