That last pic of the cat is just hilarious. He's all ehnnh, must has noms.

Well, the register thing was on before so he was stuck until I got that off and locked my cat in the bedroom so he wouldn't try to fight it.
Had to let him eat it (the beef) after all that! He ate it then ran fast out the sliding door, good thing this register was right by the door!!

Thanks! I am making the trip to my LFS Tuesday, the closes "pet store" is in the same town (about a hour away), will look then!

Thinking about this...obviously this cat "went" in there...how the heck do I clean this out? Can I take the duct work off? There just seems to be a couple screws there.

It should all unscrew and come apart. Depending on how extensive it is, you might want to take pics and label or number the pieces so you can get it back together correctly...or call your landlord. That way if something goes wrong, it's on him.

Yeah, the spot he was in just has a couple screws looks like and it is just one piece. Maybe I should call him though...just in case

I'd call your landlord before you do anything. To confirm your plans or perhaps they have a better way to go about it. Dont want to do anything that will make them mad and then they can stick you with distruction of property yadda yadda. Also, I thought that if you rented the landlord was in charge of all maintenance and repairs, as it is their property, especially if it is a health and safety risk to you and your family.
