Hey guys - I couldn't stand not being sure, so I wrote to Philips asking what the CRI and K rating of the 15W 'daylight' spiral fluorescents I'm using are (those of you who've been wondering about this hopefully know what I'm talking about)
Their official reply:
"Thank you for contacting us. The kelvin rating is 6500k and the cri is 82."
Now you know I wasn't snowin' ya Len ;)

Blinky, I wouldn't doubt your word for a second(or your judgment), but honestly I have no idea what you're talking about. Most tubes/bulbs marked 'daylight' are in the 5000K - 7000K range.
Possibly you are referring to my response to a post that said you found them at HD, and I can't figure out why neither of the local HDs in my area carry them.
This aggravates the **** out of me because I had to mail order mine.
This also makes me extremely jealous:).

Len
