Philosophical Question . . .

It's my strong belief, along with millions of others, supported by 'evident demonstration of things not beheld', that I can a) enjoy a very very long life and b) it will not be boring or tedius (because 'everything he has made pretty in its time. Even time indefinite he has put in their heart, that mankind may never find out the work that he has made from the start to the finish,') or full of pain/sadness.

...is there No. 3 option?

what about george burns, he lived a life of partying and cigar smoking and he lived into his 90's.
Life is unpridictable no matter your lifestyle.Too many outside factors fall into play to base life upon just the individuals lifestyle.
Crackheads can live into their 90's and pro athletes can die in their 20's.
if you live a "life of tedium" chances are your only sheltering yourself from reality and actual life experiences.
if you live a "life of bliss" you may be sheltering yourself from future reality and livelyhood.
No matter what lifestyle you choose, if a bus were to hit you, youde most likely be dead.
My opinion on life in general is to make the best of it for you and your loved ones through an open mind.
living a sheltered life causes more problems than the problems your trying to shelter yourself from.

Live each day like it's your last...because it could be. Don't leave unresolved issues in your life - tell that person you love them, find time to help that other person. Always grow..stay engaged in life. Treat all life with compassion. Be kind. Fight injustice. Create peace. Make sure you laugh a lot, particularly at yourself. Enjoy the simple beauty that surrounds us all. Our lives are but a moment in the scheme of time - make it count!
