Pic of my 20 gal.

Some nice pics of one of my betta. He was a drab ugly brown when I picked him out, but I liked his green eyes. Took him home, put him in a roomy tank with nice clean water....and....WHAALAA ! I only have incandescent lights in this tank, so the lighting stinks..but he's still a pretty guy....those are pastel green highlights on his fins....matches his eyes...lol... :D

How's this for a nice healthy smaller planted betta tank. This is a one gallon with Echo-Complete substrate...a small sword plant and a water sprite. I dose with a bit of excel every other day....but other than that I do a 20 or so % water change twice a week......that's IT....and...NO ALGAE...None, zippo, nadda !

I've had this tank set up like this for about 5 months now.

Here is my betta which recently went into a 38 gallon tank (only half filled with water though. He looks grumpy most of the time and no exception here :)

Hi Sublime, thanks for the compliment :) I probably got lucky more than anything else. I'm still trying to get a hang of the camera and photography. Its a 20D with the 18-55mm lens that came with it. I took the shot at ISO 100, 1/80 shutter speed and F11 for aperature.
