To anyone paying attention--I went through and removed user deleted posts, and cleaned out some threads that had inactive links (I probably missed some, this is a big thread). Just trying to tidy up, and remove some of the red boxes. Makes it a few pages shorter, and re-arranges what page things appear on...Hope no one stresses too much.
Well, my pics are no where near as nice as some of the ones on this forum...but I love taking them ! I'll have to check to see if my camera has that macro setting...maybe I can do better with what I have !
My female yellow betta
My CrownTail steel blue betta
A green female I used to have
A yellow male VeilTail betta
A 10 gallon I divided up for 4 male betta. There is a yellow, a Neon purple, copper and a white/opague betta in this tank.
Oh, I do have other things besides betta...2 fire bellied newts
and a few blue rams I have in a 29 gallon
I made this tank for my newts..picked up the tank at the local dump and siliconed in a platform for the newts. I have a female betta in the water at present. There is moss and some fern type plants on the platform with flourite. I don't know what that tall plant is. Since taking this pic I have added a nice background and more plants.
Also try turning off all the lights and shooting into the lit up tank.
The key to macro shooting is a steady hand and cooperative fish. In macro setting the quick movements are amplified resulting in a blurred image.
