Here's my brother's 55g tank a week ago with the original 4 fish in the inset

this dempsey got in a fight with a jaguar cichlid my brother brillantly put in a few days later and got lodged in that coral cave, got caught in a crevice and died

This one got its eyes clawed out by a crawfish he put in a few days later after the jaguar and is now dead

i have a question about my lighting is there anyway i could upgrade light with more than a f35t8? i now have a f15t8 but i cant find anything that will fit in my fixture that is higher than the f35...

I just redecorated this tank. Changed the substrate to pool filter sand, hence the large ugly bag in the front (it has some of the old gravel).

This is my first tank. Waiting for the barbs to grow so it looks a bit more full. :)

This is the newest tank. The angels and tetras are a bunch of scaredy cats that hide when I come near the tank. The apistos, on the other hand, are the smallest fish in the tank, but eagerly come to the front when I walk up to the tank. Very amusing. The angels like to hide behind the slate and peek out at me. :laugh:

Does anyone know what kind of fish this is? I caught her in a local stream. It looks like a Talapia to me but i don't know.

Also, this thing grew twice as fast as my Oscar and this thing can eat.
